Not one, but two, private schools in Stamford Hill. The current site is heavily overcrowded with temporary accommodation, and they’re in dire need of a larger school.
This ambitious project involves two phases. The first with the construction of a new school with a circa 6m deep basement, all above and around a pair of 1.2m diameter major Thames Water sewers. Once decanted, work on Phase Two will begin, which is the construction and re-purposing of the original site. This on its own is another major project, with equally deep basement and community spaces. Not to mention the circa 16 party wall boundaries we’ll need to contend with on this heavily constrained site.
