This cut and carve refurbishment project, just around the corner from Oxford Circus station, took a maze of endless corridors and under-utilised space and transformed it into a new white box ready for a tenant.
The basement and ground floor spaces were opened up through the removal of internal structure, and the entirety of the ground floor was levelled out through removal of elements of RC slabs and beams. Additionally, we were able to take out an RC column in the shopfront to really open the space up.
The building had been subject to numerous chops and changes over the years, and our ability to react quickly to findings on site and produce clear and straightforward structural information really helped keep the project on track.
