About
The project involved the construction of a new basement under a large existing Victorian terraced house including light wells, new ground floor and internal steel frame to support all internal masonry walls above. This required a pumped below ground drainage system, careful consideration of construction sequence and extensive coordination with other disciplines and third-party suppliers.
AMP provided superstructure, substructure and below ground drainage design alongside reinforcement detail drawings, party wall drawings, calculations and support during negotiations, structural method statements for planning stage and support through the build. We supported the project from pre-planning all the way through hand over.
We are incredibly proud to have helped achieve such an ambitious downward extension.
